Speakers forum sponsored by Sociology department and Sociology Club
A speakers forum, Collegiate Leadership in the 21st Century, took place Monday, December 4, 2017, in Heritage Hall on the campus of Inver Hills Community College. The event was sponsored by the Inver Hills Sociology department and the Sociology Club.
Speakers included Benjamin Ginsberg, PhD, political science professor at John Hopkins University, Kevin Lindstrom, Minnesota State College Faculty (MSCF) president, and August Hoffman, PhD, psychology professor at Metropolitan State University. Alexandra Boutelle and Christopher Engelhart, Inver Hills students, served as the forum’s emcees.
The forum was filmed and aired by Town Square Television. Dave Berger, sociology faculty at the college, served as the program’s producer, creator, scriptwriter and organizer. Doug Isiminger, communication faculty, served as director. Trained by Town Square Television professionals, Inver Hills students covered TV camera operation and production duties.
